Sometimes, we tend to ask some intensely profound questions. What is the true meaning of life? Why is there unrequited love? Where were you when “Bing Bong” suddenly became the unofficial battle-cry of the New York Knicks?

Yes, Knicks fans have embraced “Bing Bong” as their enjoyable mantra this season (so far, at least) after one unsuspecting fan randomly uttered it in a postgame interview. There's really no meaning behind it. That's why it's fun. Say it, c'mon.

“Bing Bong,” however, wasn't in full display in their home loss to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, as the Knicks blew a 15-point lead. After the game, Julius Randle recognized the fact that they have a huge responsibility when playing at Madison Square Garden (via Empire Sports Media).

“Both of our losses came here at home where games we feel we shouldn’t have lost. It’s always disappointing. You play every game to win, but you can’t sulk on it. You gotta learn from it, keep it moving and get ready for the two-game road trip.”

While all teams feel this way at home, it's true that the 5-2 Knicks are more pressured to win at MSG. It's not called the Mecca of Basketball for nothing. Knicks guard RJ Barrett echoed Randle's sentiments after losing to the Raptors.

“It’s the Garden. We try to protect the Garden at all costs, and we didn’t do that tonight.”

The Knicks will go on the road to face the Indiana Pacers this Wednesday and will return to the Big Apple to try and “Bing Bong” the Milwaukee Bucks.
