The Los Angeles Lakers are facing quite a few significant decisions in what is set to be a very important offseason for them. One of the biggest items on the agenda is the future of Andre Drummond, who is set to enter free agency this summer.

The general belief is that Drummond will need to take a significant pay cut in order to remain with the Lakers. As it turns out, however, it doesn't seem like the former All-Star is too keen about this option (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

The Lakers have very limited cap room available and as it appears, the only way they're going to be able to afford Drummond for next season is if he agrees to sign on a veteran's minimum. Based on his Instagram comment above, however, it is clear that the 27-year-old has no intention of doing the same.

Drummond signed with the Lakers in the middle of last season, with the primary objective of winning a title alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He agreed to sign on a discount with this specific goal in mind. That obviously did not pan out, and it looks like Drummond will now be looking to make some money elsewhere.

Drummond remains to be one of the top big men in the league today. He's still in his prime and he can still be a dominant force in the NBA. By the looks of it, however, that's not going to be in LA.
