Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers lost by 32 points to the Boston Celtics back on Jan. 20 in Boston.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that Davis and the Lakers are extremely motivated to get their revenge on the Celtics on Sunday at Staples Center:

“Worst loss of the season for us,” Davis said, via Silver Screen and Roll.“We didn’t play our best at all, so we remember that for sure. I’m pretty sure they’re thinking we beat them guys by about 40. They’re thinking about that and we’re obviously thinking about it, so we’re going to come out a little different.”

The Lakers are 42-12 on the season after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday in the team's first game after the All-Star break. They have the best record in the Western Conference.

Davis has played in 47 games this season. He’s averaging 26.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from beyond the arc and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are 37-10 with Davis in the lineup. He has 24 double-doubles on the season.
