Colby Covington is not only one of the top MMA fighters in today's game. The interim UFC Welterweight Champion also happens to be one of the biggest haters of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James on the entire planet.
Just recently, Covington decided to take another shot at The King. This time, the UFC champ is once again calling LeBron a hypocrite for allegedly talking smack against the police:
“That’s why I laugh at LeBron James,” Covington said on a recent episode of th Full Send Podcast (h/t Jonathan Sherman of Lakers Daily). “Dude — you’re talking s—. You’re putting targets on police officers’ backs, but then you’re using police security for your family.”
This is not the first time Covington has ripped LeBron. As a matter of fact, you could say that this shot is pretty mild compared to Colby's other slanderous takes against the Lakers superstar.
Be that as it may, LeBron has not responded to Covington in the past. James has pretty much put the MMA fighter in the Skip Bayless category in that he doesn't seem to acknowledge his existence. I guess for the Lakers talisman, there's no better way to clap back at your biggest haters than by not even giving them the time of day.
