During his playing days, Kobe Bryant had one of the most successful careers, having won almost all awards the NBA has to offer, including five championships. Now that he is retired, it is still hard to imagine him not having the same amount of success in all of his future endeavors, given all the greatness he has always shown.

Even New York's second district congressman Peter King believes he can thrive in the field of politics. He cited during an interview with TMZ Sports that he has “all the moves” to be effective in it, as he can bring people together, given his influence and stature.

Bryant played 20 seasons in the NBA and was named an All-Star 18-times, as well as winning the MVP once and Finals MVP twice. He established himself as one of the fiercest competitors the game has ever seen, and continued to work hard to become even better throughout his career. Both his no. 8 and no. 24 jerseys were retired earlier this week, which proves further how good he was as a player.

It's still anyone's guess at this point if The Black Mamba will ever consider running for office, but should he do, there's already a congressman supporting him, together with his millions of fans, which will definitely help him become good at it as well.
