Former Michigan State standout Miles Bridges was taking in the Cleveland Cavaliers game on Monday night when he met Vince Carter. He took to Twitter saying he met the older version of himself.

Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers wasn't having any of that, though, He took to Twitter to roast him about his comment.

This isn't the first time that Bridges has compared himself to Carter. In 2016, before he competed in the McDonalds All American Game, he said he draws a lot of his ideas for his dunks from Carter.

“I watch a lot of Vince Carter when he was with the Toronto Raptors,” Miles Bridges said to USA Today High School Sports. “He was such as exciting player and I try to do some of the dunks he did was the Raptors. I know they’re hard, but I try it. I just kinda go with it.”

Even if Bridges does take his dunk ideas from Carter, saying he is a younger version of him is a pretty bold statement and means he is going to have lofty expectations to live up to.

Bridges is expected to be a lottery pick, and his coach at Michigan State, Tom Izzo thinks that the New York Knicks might have a soft spot for Bridges, because GM Scott Perry is also from Michigan.

“Scott has a different appreciation for Michigan kids,” Izzo told the Post. “Everybody sticks up for their part of the country. You can say about Midwestern kids they have values, work ethic. Miles has all those things. He's a really unbelievable teammate – not a selfish bone in his body. That speaks a lot in this day and age.”

Nevertheless, it is funny Kyle Kuzma, who was amazing in his first season with the Lakers, won't allow for such comments to be made without some light fun.
