Even though LeBron James has always victimized the Toronto Raptors, especially during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, that's not going to stop Drake from making a hefty donation to the I Promise School in Akron, Cleveland. The public elementary school was founded in 2018 with the help and support of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar's foundation.

During a recent dinner in Toronto, Drake said that he — and crypto betting site Stake — would be giving a million dollars to the school, and James was understandably very grateful in his reaction to the gesture (h/t Kaylyn Hlavaty of News 5 Cleveland).

“Myself and Eddie from Stake, we’re going to dedicate a million dollars to the I Promise School, and I’m gonna go drop it off myself before the school year ends,” Drake said in the video.

The Lakers' forward understands and values primary education, especially since he had struggles of his own attending school growing up. The four-time NBA MVP started from the bottom and found his way to the top because of his basketball talents, but not every kid can make it out in the real world without education, and that's what the I Promise School, which currently has 535 students, is aiming to provide at-risk children.
