The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off one of their worst seasons in years, finishing 16 games below .500 and missing out on the postseason and Play-In Tournament. While LeBron James showed out in a big way, his running mate, Anthony Davis, once again struggled to stay healthy. That has resulted in tons of criticism, with many believing AD will never be able to play a full campaign again because of his constant injury problems.

Well, on Wednesday, LeBron put the NBA on notice by sending a stern warning about his Lakers teammate, claiming he'll be back and dominant as ever in 2022-23:

“Get It Twisted if you want too! I'm due time he'll remind you once again why he's HIM!!! And I can't wait for it to be unleashed! 😤😤😤.”

AD faced a lot of backlash recently after it was revealed he hadn't shot a ball since April. Funny enough, the Lakers big man was then seen in the lab with Lethal Shooter on Tuesday.

Davis played in just 40 games in 2021-22, posting averages of 23.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting just 18% from downtown. Although he's not exactly known for his 3-point shooting, AD is typically more efficient than that. 2020-21 also saw the Lakers center feature in only 36 contests.

There is absolutely no question LA needs Anthony Davis in tip-top shape in order to be competitive in a tough Western Conference. Hopefully, he can come back with a vengeance and live up to LeBron's words.
