Apparently, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has a similar attitude to Michael Jordan in terms of having fun off the court.

Last Sunday's episodes of ESPN's “The Last Dance” placed a heavy emphasis on Jordan's demanding nature as a teammate during his time with the Chicago Bulls. However, former teammate Scott Burrell also noted MJ was fun to be with off the floor, someone you could relax and joke around with away from the game.

Now, according to Lakers reserve point guard Quinn Cook, LeBron is the “class clown” of the team. He said that James is constantly trying to lighten the mood and make sure things do not get too tense or dour.

“He's the class clown, joking all day all night, on the plane and the bus. Joking, keeps everyone entertained. He's always locked in, but he keeps everybody light. He doesn't ever want us to get too serious. Obviously when we take a loss or not playing well, he's the first to get on us and build us back up, but he keeps everything light,” the Lakers guard said of LeBron James in Bleacher Report's AMA.

James has always had a bit of a more fun-loving side.

LeBron and the “Big 3” Miami Heat — especially Chris Bosh — helped popularize the “videobomb.” It is also worth noting that LeBron once tackled a Heat fan who made a promotional half-court shot in 2013.

Of course, there is also the infamous “Taco Tuesday” Instagram stories.

The Lakers superstar is unquestionably one of the most competitive and demanding individuals to ever step on the hardwood. Nonetheless, Cook seems to indicate LeBron also understands when to hit the “off” switch and make sure he is engaging with teammates on a more personal level.
