The Los Angeles Lakers were blown out for the third straight game on Wednesday night, losing by 20 points to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While Patrick Beverley had his fair share of fun trolling the Lakers throughout the contest, one Timberwolves fan also tried to get under Russell Westbrook's skin prior to the tipoff by calling him “Westbrick.” Needless to say, the Lakers guard isn't fond of the nickname.

Via NBA Central:

Westbrook made a point of saying “What did you call me?” until he actually got into the fan's face and he finally said Russ' name the right way. You could see the frustration in his eyes.

Unfortunately, it was another brutal night for the Lakers star, posting a stat line of 15 points, four rebounds, and five assists while going 1-of-4 from three-point land. He even air-balled a wide-open triple which Karl-Anthony Towns made fun of.

Westbrook's struggles have been extremely evident in March, averaging barely over 16 points and shooting an atrocious 11% from beyond the arc. Not surprising why opposing supporters are calling him “Westbrick.” At this point, LeBron James and the Lakers are running out of time to turn things around. They're 2-8 in their last 10 games, which puts them in ninth place in the Western Conference. That means LA would play the New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament.

The Lakers' schedule doesn't get any easier either, with three of their next four games against teams who are currently in the playoff picture in the Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Philadlephia 76ers. The King can only put the Lakers on his back so much. He needs help, and that comes down to Westbrook's production, especially with Anthony Davis still sidelined.
