Admit it, there's a Patrick Beverley in all of us. The Minnesota Timberwolves has never shied away from expressing himself, controversy be damned. Especially when it involves Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook.

After the Timberwolves embarrassed the Lakers on Tuesday night, Westbrook was asked by reporters about all the smack-talking, usually initiated by Beverley, during the game. The Lakers guard easily dusted it off, saying he was not too bothered because none of the Timberwolves have achieved anything significant in the league.

Of course, Beverley didn't let it slide, taking to Twitter to throw shade at Westbrook.

Beverley blurting his achievements isn't new, but he couldn't pass up the chance to once again troll his nemesis. He and Westbrook have a long history, dating back to their days with the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder, respectively.

The Timberwolves trounced the Lakers, 124-104 to improve to 41-30. Beverley contributed 18 points on six-of-nine shooting from the field, six rebounds, and three blocks. He also helped limit LeBron James to only 19 points, even giving him a huge dap on the butt during the Timberwolves' big run in the second quarter.

Westbrook, on the other hand, finished with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. The latest defeat only compounds the Lakers' woes, as they are in danger of even falling short of the play-in tournament.

If that happens, well, maybe Beverley will throw a massive party.
