Upon seeing the first images of the food provided at the Walt Disney World hotels in Orlando, many wondered if Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, lover of Taco Tuesday, would bring his personal chef for some scrumptious meals in the NBA bubble.

Yet the Lakers veteran chose not to bring his chef, or his masseuse, or his personal security team, knowing his teammates would also be without any of those commodities.

“He wants to make sure he's going through all the rigors as his teammates on this campus to make sure he's blending in and going through everything that they're experiencing,” TNT's Chris Haynes said on Wednesday. “LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Quinn Cook, at times I've seen them roaming in campus, walking along, just getting that bonding period. But LeBron James is clearly trying to send a message that ‘we're all in this together.'”

James might just be the most calculative NBA player when it comes to the outside perception, so it comes as no surprise that he would be well in touch with how his teammates would perceive him if he was to bring all of his commodities into the bubble.

Chemistry will have a high price tag after most players have spent four months away from their teammates, and this is LeBron's chance to cash in.

For what it's worth, James might only have been able to bring his personal chef to Florida and have him deliver the food into the bubble, per a league memo — as the Lakers were unlikely to bump essential personnel just to acquiesce to The King.
