Where is LeBron James heading to next? According to Sam Amick, the Los Angeles Lakers have the ‘most buzz' in the James sweepstakes.

Several key elements are firmly in place as to why the Lakers are the next destination for James. For one, they have the best young core in the NBA right now. Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Brandon Ingram will turn out to be one of the NBA's elites in the years to come.

Second, the team has a projected cap space of some $58.4 million for 2018. While they may need to move out some players in the event that James jumps ship, safe to say that the Lakers will still have enough breathing room.

Another key element is the request of Kawhi Leonard to be traded. Rumors reveal that he wants to go to the Lakers. And according to Byron Scott, this might the key that the Lakers needed to hook in James. Speaking on The Jump, Scott said he believes that Leonard's revelation most likely lures in another star caliber player:

“I was feeling good this morning driving in. I was hyped up because that domino effect is going to lead to LeBron James. “I don’t know if it’s going to be Paul George or Chris Paul. I kind of like that as well.”

Scott also shared the general consensus in Lakerland:

“Here in Lakerland we’re feeling pretty good about this situation. I know the Boston the young players that they can trade, but Kawhi is a Laker-lover so you can’t want to play for the Boston Celtics.
