For coaches at the amateur level, sportsmanship is among the most basic of lessons that they need to engrain in their players. However, LaVar Ball’s recent action proved to be an unfortunate example to the kids he’s coaching.

The father of the Lakers’ prized rookie Lonzo Ball was coaching his Big Baller team at the Double Pump Best of Summer Tournament when, after being called for a technical foul, he shocked spectators by pulling out his players and forcing them to forfeit the game altogether.

LaVar Ball’s scene starts at the 7:00 mark of the video:

This happened at a playoff game and in front of the UCLA coaching staff, of all occasions. After exiting the arena, Ball was seen running his mouth outside and expressing his dismay over the officials’ calls.

But in true Big Baller fashion, the outspoken personality never fails to miss a photo opportunity with fans.
