RIOT REVEALS LEAGUE OF LEGENDS‘ NEW CHAMPION THROUGH A TEASER TRAILER

Riot introduced League of Legends (LOL)'s new champion Gwen through a teaser trailer. Here, we see how Gwen came into existence. The Ruined King Viego's wife Isolde made a cute-looking doll. When Isolde dies, Viego attempts to revive her, getting corrupted by the Black Mist in the process. The same Black Mist affected the doll, who loved her maker very dearly. Now, just like Viego who turned into the Ruined King because of his longing for Isolde, the Black Mist gave the doll life, giving rise to Gwen, The Hallowed Seamstress. Gwen, also longing for Isolde, roams the land now in search of her lost love.

Fans also caught a glimpse of the LOL new champion in the Gwen Champion Trailer that released shortly after the teaser. We get to see how the Hallowed Seamstress will be like. We don't have exact details on her skills and abilities, yet. But from the champion trailer, we can see her wielding a gigantic pair of shears. It appears that Gwen is aware of her origins. Her voice lines showed surprise that she can move her limbs on her own. Gwen's weapons of choice also show her awareness of her background. She refers to her shears, thread, and other sewing materials as her creator's gifts to her. Her skills include an ephemeral area of effect, as well as ways to snip at her opponents with her shears.

Riot hasn't revealed yet when Gwen will come to League of Legends, but we're pretty sure she'll be the next champion to come out. Riot will surely follow up on us with new details soon.
