The Tampa Bay Lightning are gearing up for the Eastern Conference Finals for the third year in a row. After sweeping the Presidents' Trophy-winning Florida Panthers, the Lightning look poised to return to the Stanley Cup Finals, though they'll have to take on the winner of the Canes-Rangers series first. The Lightning provided an injury update after Sunday's practice, and the news on Brayden Point, or lack thereof, should concern fans in Tampa. According to Eduardo Encina, Point was not on the ice for practice.

This is particularly concerning for the Lightning considering the star forward had been rested the entire series against the Panthers. Point sustained a lower-body injury in Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the NHL Playoffs. While he returned to finish out that game, he hasn't featured for the Lightning since.

The team didn't provide a specific update on his status, but the fact that he's still not practicing doesn't bode well for his availability for Game 1, which will take place on Wednesday, June 1. He still has a few days to rehab and get right, but considering he hasn't featured for the Lightning in more than two weeks, it may be time for fans to panic.

Jon Cooper will certainly provide a more distinct update on Point's status in the coming days, but for now, it doesn't seem as if he's ready to return just yet. That all could change before Wednesday, however.

Brandon Hagel was reportedly also not on the ice for Sunday's practice, while Mikhail Sergachev made his return to the ice.
