Fresh off an Africa Cup of Nations title with Senegal, Liverpool frontman Sadio Mane has spoken out on his future at Anfield. According to Goal, the 29-year-old is extremely interested in signing with either Real Madrid or Barcelona this summer if an offer came his way.

Mane, who is one of the Reds' most important players, is heading into the final year of his current deal with the Merseysiders and there haven't been any discussions on an extension. Los Blancos and Barca are two clubs that the Senegalese international has long admired since he was a child and it's a dream he'd like to fulfill before retiring.

Mane has enjoyed boatloads of success with Liverpool since making the switch from Southampton in 2016, helping Jurgen Klopp's side win the Champions League, Premier League, and Club World Cup. He could add another piece of silverware to his trophy case later this month when the Reds lock horns with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

With no new deal in sight, it might not be that difficult for Mane to leave Liverpool after all. They did just sign Porto winger Luis Diaz for €45 million, who could be the perfect replacement for the African if he does depart.

The Reds still need to lock down Mo Salah as well, who has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract. Needless to say, Liverpool has some important business to get done here. As for Mane, he'll keep Madrid and Barca in the back of his mind for the time being. I'm sure both clubs would love to have him.
