The Louisville Cardinals are looking better and better as the offseason goes on. Most recently, news broke that top-ranked wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr committed to the team. Moore shared the news with ESPN on Tuesday.

Moore ranks 17th overall in the 2023 ESPN 300 list. He has an overall scout grade of 87, earning him four stars from ESPN. Moore ranks fourth regionally, third in California, and second in his position, only behind wide receiver Zachariah Branch.

This is a huge boost to the Cardinals' roster. According to ESPN Louisville's Mark Blankenbaker, Moore is the third highest-rated player to commit to the Cardinals. He tweeted the astounding stat Tuesday morning.

And, according to ESPN, Moore is the sixth commitment from the ESPN 300, ranking their 2023 class sixth nationally and first in the ACC. Moore recently retweeted Jshawn Frausto-Ramos' Cardinals commitment post. The four-star defensive back will be one of Moore's many top-ranked teammates in Louisville.

Before committing to Louisville, Moore had offers from 22 other schools. This includes Oklahoma University, which he committed to in September of 2021 and decommitted to in January of 2022. Moore decided decommit after Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma for the University of Southern California. This led many to believe that USC was a frontrunner to be Moore's final landing spot.

Moore will make his official visit to Louisville on June 17.
