T.J. Finley started his collegiate career with the LSU Tigers before transferring to Auburn at the end of last season.

In Week 4, Finley replaced Bo Nix against Georgia State and now he could be in line to start against his former team, LSU.

Per AuburnWire.USAToday.com, LSU coach Ed Orgeron spoke on Finley's time with his program and expectations for Saturday.

“First of all, T.J. came and talked to me like a man in my office. He didn’t want to leave, he was crying. LSU meant a lot to him and I knew that, but it was a decision that was made that was best for him and so he left. He looks like he’s doing well so we wish him the best, not obviously against us, but hey, T.J.’s always going to be a part of our family. He’s from Ponchatoula, he’s got a great family, so hey, after the game we’re going to shake hands…We wish him the very best and I hope he does very well and we’re going to shake his hand after the game.”

Both Auburn and LSU will enter the contest with 3-1 records and Auburn being ranked No. 22. Tiger Stadium will be bumping under the lights and Orgeron is expecting Finley to start over Nix, per AL.com.

“I think it’s going to be T.J., to be honest with you,” Oregeron said. “But, you know, we worked against No. 10 (Bo Nix). We worked against Nix for three years. We kind of know his style. We kind of know T.J.’s style. So, we’re ready for both of them.”

Buckle up for LSU – Auburn on Saturday.
