Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic is having the best season of his eight-year career. He became an All-Star for the first time, and he's the main reason why the team still has a legitimate fighting chance of making the playoffs this season.

Vucevic is also set to become a free agent this summer. With his stellar performance this season, averaging 20.7 points and 12.1 rebounds per game, it is expected that Vucevic will receive a lot of interest from different teams.

But in his interview with News 13's Pat Welter, the 28-year-old said he hasn't thought much about his plans for his impending free agency, as he's focused on helping the Magic make it to the playoffs:

“I really haven’t thought about it too much yet, especially now with the last stretch of the season being very important to us,” Vucevic says. “When the time comes I’ll see what’s out there, the opportunities that I have and look at them all and decide what’s best for me, my career and also my family. I’ve never been in that position so when the season ends hopefully that will be after the playoffs and I’ll sit down with my family, my agency and go through the whole process and see.”

While everyone seems to be talking about the free-agency decisions of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Kyrie Irving, among other stars, people tend to forget that Vucevic has also made a name for himself in the league, especially this season.

Time will only tell if Vucevic will stay in Orlando. Several factors might be in play here, and one of them is how the team finishes the season.
