Former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is currently jobless and it appears he is keen on taking over at Man United if the club decides to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Via Fabrizio Romano:

The poor results continue to pile up for the Red Devils, which has put the Norwegian on the hot seat. An embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford over the weekend has many fans and pundits calling for Solskjaer's head, but there is still a belief the Man United board could give him more time to turn the ship around.

Conte is currently the favorite replace Solskjaer, who hasn't exactly had the best tenure with the side since his appointment in December of 2018. They've yet to win any hardware under the 48-year-old and currently sit seventh in the Premier League table.

The Italian would undoubtedly be a solid option for Man United given his experience and success across Europe. Conte has won numerous Serie A titles with Juventus and then most recently Inter, while also capturing the Premier League trophy with Chelsea a few years ago.

Zinedine Zidane is also a potential candidate for the job if it becomes available, but all signs point to Conte right now. Two wins from seven are simply not good enough and unfortunately, Man United has a very tough spell ahead with the likes of Man City, Tottenham, and Chelsea on the schedule. It will be very interesting to see if Solskjaer can fix things at Old Trafford. If not, he'll be unemployed.
