The biggest storyline ahead of the 2022 Masters in Augusta is the playing status of Tiger Woods. The greatest golf player ever, it's still unknown if he'll be able to participate in the prestigious event, but it certainly appears Tiger is trending in the right direction.

Woods was seen practicing in full on Sunday, looking very happy and pain-free with his swings. Also, his caddie, Joe LaCava, dropped a promising update on Tiger on Monday.

Via Ian O'Connor:

Tiger Woods' caddie Joe LaCava was out walking the course at the Masters this morning with Justin Thomas' caddie Bones Mackay. LaCava said that he expects Tiger to play some this afternoon, and that he likes the way his guy looks.

This is great news for Tiger, who has already won the Masters five times in his illustrious career. Considering how well he's been moving around on the course, a heroic return to the sport after getting in a brutal car accident just 13 months ago looks like it could be in the cards.

Woods did say on Sunday that it will be a game-time decision if he competes or not. Nevertheless, it's a foregone conclusion he should be playing on the tour again, whether it's in the Masters or another tournament in the near future.
