With his trade to the Houston Rockets now official, Boban Marjanovic has nothing but love and appreciation for the Dallas Mavericks and their fan base.
Marjanovic was sent to the Rockets alongside Marquese Chriss, Trey Burke and Sterling Brown as part of the Christian Wood deal. The Mavs also dealt the no. 26 pick in the 2022 draft to complete the trade.
The deal was officially announced on Friday, with the Mavs and the fans sending their parting message to the beloved big man. Upon getting a ton of love from the Dallas faithful, Marjanovic shared his appreciation by reposting their messages and reacting with folded hands and hearts emojis on Instagram.
Marjanovic has yet to fully speak out on his exit, but his reaction speaks volumes on the love he has for Dallas.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Boban Marjanovic. Of course there is still a way, albeit tricky, for him to return to the Mavs in 2022-23. However, it has been reported before that the Rockets are considering keeping the Serbian big man.
Regardless of what happens with Marjanovic, though, there is no doubt he is always welcome to go to Dallas. On whichever team he suits up next season, tributes will surely pour in for him when he visits the Mavs and face his good friend Luka Doncic and the rest of the crew.
