Mavs, Mark Cuban make Dirk Nowitzki move that will please Luka Doncic
The Dallas Mavericks have been in the news so much since their playoff run ended. They moved on from Donnie Nelson and watched long-time head coach Rick Carlisle step away. Well, Mark Cuban has something up his sleeve with the latest hiring of Dirk Nowitzki, and Luka Doncic must feel good about the latest signing.

Wow. So, the Mavs organization has flipped upside down in recent days and now Dirk is back with the team in a role and who knows what is next for the Mavs.
Nowitzki will be assisting the team as they aim to hire a new head coach, and having the Mavs legend in the room as a recruiting pitch is always a benefit. Plus, the relationship between Luka Doncic and Dirk is no secret, so this could definitely help as the situation pertains to the Mavs new superstar.
The Mavs will have a busy offseason as they try and replace Carlisle and Nelson, and the situation regarding Kristaps Porzingis has also been a hot topic. Well, having an NBA Hall of Famer in the building is always a welcomed sight and the Mavs are trying to do something, anything, to keep Luka Doncic from demanding a trade and forcing his way out of Dallas.
