Wow. So, the Mavs organization has flipped upside down in recent days and now Dirk is back with the team in a role and who knows what is next for the Mavs.
Nowitzki will be assisting the team as they aim to hire a new head coach, and having the Mavs legend in the room as a recruiting pitch is always a benefit. Plus, the relationship between Luka Doncic and Dirk is no secret, so this could definitely help as the situation pertains to the Mavs new superstar.
The Mavs will have a busy offseason as they try and replace Carlisle and Nelson, and the situation regarding Kristaps Porzingis has also been a hot topic. Well, having an NBA Hall of Famer in the building is always a welcomed sight and the Mavs are trying to do something, anything, to keep Luka Doncic from demanding a trade and forcing his way out of Dallas.
