Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis brought his A-game early against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. The 7-foot-3 Latvian was off to a fast start at American Airlines Center, already amassing a double-double to his name after just the first 24 minutes of action. Porzingis tallied 20 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks in just the first half for the Mavs.

He capped off his brilliant start with this vicious right-handed stuff over the hapless Spurs defense. After faking the trey and blowing past Jakob Poeltl, Porzingis disregarded DeMar DeRozan's help defense and just skied for the thunderous finish.

Sure, Porzingis is 7-foot-3 and should be able to dunk with ease, but the way he cocked that ball back was pretty nice, isn't it? The Mavs, meanwhile, are definitely loving what they're seeing out of KP over the last few games.

After returning from a two-game absence, the 25-year-old slot man has now scored 20 or more points in three straight games for the Mavs. Despite going in and out of the lineup due to injuries, Porzingis has played inspired basketball since being in the thick of trade rumors right before the deadline.

The Mavs, of course, hopes to give superstar Luka Doncic all the help he can get on a daily basis. Looks like Porzingis is proving that he is still the best right-hand man for Luka with the way he's been playing right now.
