The Dallas Mavericks duo is at it again. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis dazzled their way into another highlight as the two superstars perfectly linked up for a perfectly executed alley-oop slam against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

Late in the second quarter, Doncic found the cutting Porzingis for the massive poster.

Doncic has been a magician with the ball and has been, at times, quite unguardable. He showcased his full arsenal on the play by carefully dissecting the Lakers defense. He used the Willie Cauley-Stein screen and went past Kyle Kuzma, forcing the returning Anthony Davis to collapse to him. This left Porzingis wide open for the one-handed jam.

The Mavericks are off to a red-hot start at home as they host the defending champions in the first half of a back-to-back set. The Lakers got a huge boost as their eight-time All-Star in Davis finally joined the lineup after sitting out the past few months due to a calf strain. But both Doncic and Porzingis didn't seem to be bothered by Davis' return as they kept their foot on the gas.

The Mavericks would need more than a series of pretty plays from Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis though if they want to end the regular season strong. With just 15 games to go, they still need to secure a handful of key wins for them to cement their spot in the NBA Playoffs.
