The NBA All-Star Weekend has finally arrived. Luka Doncic is slated to participate in multiple events, including the rising stars challenge on Friday night that will pit the U.S. team against the World team in a match full of incredible young players. However, it appears that Luka has his own international dream team that he believes could go all the way if given the chance.

In all honesty, Luka could really be on to something here. Out of all the names on the list, the only player to not receive an All-Star selection in their career is the rookie Doncic. This would absolutely be a dominant star-studded international team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is in line to likely win his first MVP award this season and his in the driver’s seat for the Milwaukee Bucks, who currently claim the best record in the NBA. Nikola Jokic has earned some MVP consideration and developed into a premier big man, having taken another big leap this season. Doncic is a clear favorite for Rookie of the Year and is already playing at an All-Star level, even if he won’t be competing Sunday night.

The two names that stand out are Kristaps Porzingis and Goran Dragic. What they share in common though, is that they now both have been on the same team as Luka Doncic.

Porzingis just arrived in Dallas via trade and the Mavericks are hoping to have an electric one-two punch with KP and Luka as the leaders of an up and coming young squad. Goran Dragic on the other hand, shared the court with Luka when playing with the Slovenian National team. The two won a EuroBasket title together in 2017 and Dragic has made it known how talented he believes Doncic is.
