Dallas Mavericks rising star Luka Doncic is excited about his partnership with Kristaps Porzingis, expressing his belief that they will work well together under Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle.

When asked on why he thinks he will fit well with his new Mavs teammate, Doncic responded with a rather amusing but straightforward answer:

It's a simple answer yet no one is doubting Doncic's forecast.

Fans and experts alike expect the two young stars to run lots of two-man plays and pick-and-rolls. Doncic is a dual-threat who can easily score over his defender. Moreover, his passing ability is already out of this world.

Porzingis, meanwhile, is a 7-foot-3 forward who can score both inside and outside. In fact, some even say he is the second coming of recently retired Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki.

The future of Dallas certainly looks bright with the two leading the way. It will take some time before Doncic and Porzingis develop a smooth chemistry and operate seamlessly. However, once they do so, the Mavs could be one of the top teams in the Western Conference.

For now though, Dallas might have to settle as a lower seed or a dark horse playoff contender in the wild, wild West.
