North America's League Championship series continues its brave venture into the new season by announcing its complete on-air cast. This follows the rebranding announcement from Riot Games yesterday. Former NA legend Hai “Hai” Du Lam leads the charge for the new on-air talents.

New challengers

The new entrants to the NA broadcast team include former ESPN writer Emily Rand, former Golden Guardians Academy coach and LPL caster Barento “Razleplasm” Mohammed, and former Immortals Top Kieran “Allorim” Logue. The biggest name from the new team still remains former Cloud9 star Hai.

The Canadian Mid laner most recently played for Golden Guardians up until April 2018 before starting his own esports organization. Hai was a regular member of the LCS analyst desk in 2019 but only officially joins the team this year. His years of on-hand experience as a professional player will no doubt help bring color to the on-air desk.

The new batch of on-air talent joins some longstanding pioneers of NA. Riv, Phreak, Jatt, Kobe, CaptainFlowers, Azael, LeTigress, Crumbz, MarkZ, and Spawn all return for the 2021 season. Ovilee May is notably absent from the announcement teaser video. She worked with several teams and has been generally active throughout the League community.

The introduction of brand new talent to the on-air team is a sign of welcome development for the LCS. Riot games made it clear through their rebranding announcement that they are ready for the next generation of LOL stars. Obviously, this included the next batch of on-air talent that fans will come to know and love. The LCS Lock-In tournament begins on January 15.
