Former Memphis Tigers big man James Wiseman could very well become the number one overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft later this year. As a result, Wiseman is unsurprisingly receiving a lot of attention as the NBA Playoffs continue to ramp up, which means that the looming offseason is not too far off.

This time around, Wiseman joined Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen and the rest of the team at ESPN's “The Jump” while comparing his game to former NBA power forward Chris Bosh and current Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis. If Wiseman ultimately pans out to even half of such a comparison, his NBA career will be talked about for a very, very long time.

Standing at just over seven feet tall, James Wiseman has been talked about as a top five NBA Draft pick for the last several years while his time at the collegiate level did not last very long as his professional aspirations always remained at the forefront of his time at Memphis. Even though his departure from Memphis back in December was marred by an eligibility battle with the NCAA, it was clear throughout his brief time on the court for the Tigers that this kid is uber talented and will no doubt be playing some high-level NBA basketball in the very near future.

While the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery has yet to officially take place with the annual event scheduled for later this week, there are definitely some intriguing potential destinations for Wiseman like the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks.
