Zion Williamson will finally embark on his NBA journey when commissioner Adam Silver calls his name with the first overall selection in the NBA draft in June.

However, despite his all-but-sure fate as the top pick, Williamson still remains agent-less heading into tonight's NBA draft lottery, per CL Brown of The Athletic.

According to one NBA source, Williamson has yet to select an agent, a decision that seems inevitable before he signs a lucrative shoe deal. For now, Williamson is surrounded by his mother and stepfather, who have deftly guided him through every step of his journey. Sharonda Sampson and Lee Anderson have quietly helped create the phenomenon, even electing not to do interviews during Williamson’s year at Duke. Most important, Wiggins says, they’ll still be there to help Williamson select an agent.

Surely, Williamson is a highly-coveted client. In fact, several agencies, including LeBron James' Klutch Sports and Jay-Z's Roc Nation, are already eyeing to offer their services to arguably the most highly-anticipated prospect of the decade.

Zion is slated to make $40 million in four years in his rookie deal. But that could be nothing compared to the endorsement deals he may get off the court.

Many shoe companies are already setting up their respective lucrative offers for a shoe deal with the 6-foot-7, 285-lb. athletic freak. Zion will definitely need an agent he can consult with when dealing with the business side of the NBA.

Nevertheless, perhaps Zion will make his decision when he finally learns which team he will possibly be on later tonight. The New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, and Cleveland Cavaliers all have the top odds to land the once-in-a-generation talent out of Duke University.
