DeMarcus Cousins, the star center of the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2017-18 season, decided to join the Golden State Warriors for this upcoming season. With the Warriors already winning a championship this past season, the addition of Cousins only has the potential to increase their chances of repeating.
Kevin Durant and Cousins have had altercations both on and off the court. Ironically, Cousins laughed at Durant's decision to become a member of the Golden State Warriors, as seen in a video posted by Raejhon Johnson of Sparkle Sports. Cousins believed that Durant had the intention of wanting to chase titles.

The tables have turned, however, as Cousins recently joined the Warriors on a 1 year, $5.3 million contract. With Cousins joining Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson, chasing another title seems to be an ambition within the reach of the dangerous Warriors.
With JaVale McGee going to the Los Angeles Lakers, joining LeBron James, Lance Stephenson, and Rajon Rondo, the Warriors have serious contenders in the Western Conference. But, it is of no question that the Warriors will prove themselves to be a difficult team to defeat on their journey to yet another championship.
