Nando de Colo, who has played for the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors, is eyeing a return to the NBA.

Per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, De Colo will be a free agent by July 1 and may leave CSKA Moscow of the VTB United League.

De Colo was selected by the Spurs in 2009 as the 53rd overall pick. However, it wasn't until the 2012-2013 season that he played in the NBA. The 6-foot-5 guard played three seasons in the league. He averaged 3.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across 11.9 minutes. He also shot 42.9 percent from the field and 83.5 percent from the free throw line.

During his stint under Gregg Popovich, De Colo's turnovers — a direct result of his poor decision-making skills — were the main reason why he got cut. He has since improved in his various stints with the Euroleague and the VTB United League. His remarkable improvement may be evidenced by his four MVP trophies: one with the Euroleague in 2016 and three with the VTB United League from 2015 to 2018.

Whether NBA teams sign him is a matter of wait-and-see, but his resume shows that he's a totally different player compared to what he was when he first left the NBA.
