Shaquille O'Neal is selling his Orlando mansion, and he has lowered the asking price to $21.9 million for his interested buyers.

According to Kyle Arnold of The Orlando Sentinel, the former NBA legend is mighty eager to finally move on from the lavish home in which he lived at the beginning of his professional career. It has been up for sale since May – initially running for $28 million.

Shaquille O'Neal purchased the estate for $3.95 million back in November 1993 after being selected with the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. He and his broker Chris Franciosa, who is also managing partner for the South Florida-based real estate firm, are putting their best foot forward in establishing the property's new rightful owner.

“We dropped it from $28 million to $21.9 million to show a significant decrease and to show that he is a serious seller and not just put it up there for vanity,” said Franciosa.

It likely won't be long before the Central Florida home sees another resident. There have been several serious buyers, and one true offer, per Arnold. Though the Hall of Fame big man only played a short time for the Magic, he still often occupied it over the course of his 21-year career. Apparently so did a lot of other players and coaches around the NBA.

“It certainly hosted some legendary pick-up games, and some visiting NBA teams even practiced there when they played in Orlando,” Franciosa said.
