Even though the beginning of his NBA journey is now just months away, top prospect Zion Williamson still refuses to play favorites on which NBA team he would prefer to be on. According to the 18-year-old, he is not letting all the noise around him lead him on, but instead, he will be more than happy to play for whoever wants him.

This is a very mature and diplomatic response from the youngster, which makes him all the more impressive. His game is obviously already NBA-ready, and based on this brief interview alone, it appears that he also already possesses the right mindset to make it big in the league.
Zion Williamson is one of the most-highly touted prospects of recent time, and he is considered by many as a franchise-altering type of player. A number of teams have already resigned to attaining any type of success this season, and instead, have completely committed to tanking in the hopes of landing Williamson in the upcoming Draft.
All the hype could have very easily gotten to his head, but it seems that Zion is doing the exact opposite.
Sure, no one really expects him to publicly announce his preferred team as the repercussions of a botched union would be simply catastrophic. However, his response seems quite genuine, and it does really make you feel that he is just happy to make it in the NBA, regardless of which uniform he ends up putting on.
