With the final day of the NBA season upon us, there are still a ton of scenarios to play out, and the most important one is the play-in game in the Western Conference.

The winner of the game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets is for the final playoff spot, and the loser will go home. The winner of that game won't necessarily finish in the 8th spot, however. If the Wolves win they could move all the way up to the 5th seed, and if the Nuggets win they could move all the way up to the 6th spot.

That isn't the only important game in the Western Conference though. If the Portland Trail Blazers win against the Utah Jazz they will finish with the 3rd seed, but if they lose they will finish in the 4th spot. For the Jazz if they win that game they will get the 3rd seed, but if they lose there is a chance they could fall all the way to fifth.

For the New Orleans Pelicans, they could finish as high as the fifth spot with a win and some help. With a loss though, they would fall all the way to the 8th spot.

For the San Antonio Spurs they could finish as high as fifth or as low as eight and most of that is based one what the other teams do.

For the Thunder they will lock up the 4th spot or the 6th spot with a win depending on who wins the Jazz and Trail Blazers game.

In the Eastern Conference, it isn't as crazy as scenarios, but there is still a lot to be figured out on the last day of the regular season.

The Toronto Raptors have the top seed locked up, the Boston Celtics have the 2nd seed, and the Indiana Pacers have the 5th seed all wrapped up. The rest of the conference though is still up in the air.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, they can wrap up the 3rd seed with a win against the Milwaukee Bucks, or if the Cleveland Cavaliers lose to the New York Knicks. For the Cavaliers, the lowest they can go is the 4th seed.

For the Bucks they lock up the 6th seed with a win against the 76ers, but with a loss they could fall all the way to the 8th seed.

The 6th, 7th and 8th seed are coming down to the Bucks, Washington Wizards. and Miami Heat with each team besides the Bucks needing help from the others to move up in the standings.
