The New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs will play on Tuesday night in an inter-conference matchup. It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Knicks-Spurs prediction and pick.

The Spurs and Knicks will battle on Tuesday. The Spurs saw their four-game win streak get snapped on Monday night in a road matchup with the Phoenix Suns. This puts the Spurs on the second half of a back-to-back on Tuesday night. The Knicks have not played since Saturday afternoon when they lost at home to the Denver Nuggets. New York comes in as slight road favorites over the Spurs on Tuesday evening, which is no surprise considering the rest advantage.

Why The Knicks Can Cover The Spread

New York will continue to look for some rhythm in Texas on Tuesday as they have had an up and down season to this point. Julius Randle has not enjoyed quite the same level of success that he did last season, and that trickles down to the rest of the group. The Kemba Walker experiment seems to be a miss, as the Knicks defense tanked with him on the floor early this season. The Spurs will be a tough matchup for the Knicks, but New York may have caught a break catching them on a back-to-back. San Antonio is a young, hot team that is still dangerous as a home underdog in this spot. Despite the hard fought loss in Phoenix last night, the Knicks better be careful with the Spurs in this one.

New York is 4-6 in their last 10 games and 6-4 on the road this season. The Knicks are 10-13 vs. the spread in 2021-22.

Why The Spurs Can Cover The Spread

This is a tough spot for the Spurs to try to bounce back after a tough loss on the road in Phoenix on Monday night. San Antonio will face a Knicks team that has not played since Saturday. While the rest disadvantage is notable, home underdogs are still always at least somewhat appealing. Greg Popovich will look to find the right mix vs. a Knicks team that hasn't quite found itself yet this season. New York is better rested and maybe a little more talented, but the Spurs are young and should be able to put together another 48-minute game on Tuesday. Dejounte Murray had 17 points, 14 assists and six rebounds vs. the Suns on Monday, as he will look to continue his solid season. Murray leads the Spurs in points, rebounds and assists so far this season. The Spurs will face an uphill battle on the back-to-back Tuesday night, but should have a chance to hang around vs. an underwhelming Knicks team.

The Spurs are 4-6 at home and 13-9 vs. the spread so far this season.

Final Knicks-Spurs Prediction & Pick

This game feels like a toss up. Despite the Knicks having the rest edge, they just haven't been good of late. Take the under here as the Spurs play a more methodical pace and also play solid defense. The Knicks are probably the safer bet on the spread, but it is tough to trust them at the moment vs. a Spurs team that has won four of their last five games.

Final Knicks-Spurs Prediction & Pick: Under 211 (-110)
