The Golden State Warriors will face the Chicago Bulls in a matchup of two of the best teams in the NBA. It's time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Warriors-Bulls prediction and pick.

Both of these teams have had incredible success this season. The Warriors have earned themselves a record of 30-11, good for the second-best record in a hotly contested Western Conference. Chicago doesn't have the record to measure up to Golden State, but their 27-12 mark is still good enough for the first seed in the east. The Bulls were just blown out by the Brooklyn Nets, so this game will be another good test of their ability to hang with other elite teams. This has the potential to be one of the most interesting games of the season so far, so let's get into the pick.

Why The Warriors Could Cover The Spread

Despite all their success, the Bulls haven't been a particularly good defensive team. They allow 107 points per game, a number that places them right around league average. Chicago also allows their opponents to shoot 45% from the field and 35% from beyond the arc, two shockingly poor numbers. The Warriors are one of the best shooting teams in the NBA from anywhere on the floor, so this is a pretty solid matchup for Golden State's offense.

Golden State has been one of the best teams in the league against the spread. Head coach Steve Kerr's squad has earned a 23-16-2 record ATS overall, while also going 4-3 against the spread when they enter the game as an underdog. Also, inspiring confidence is the fact that the Warriors dominated this matchup the last time these teams played. Golden State didn't have any trouble handling Chicago in a 26-point victory way back in November.

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread

Unfortunately for the Warriors, they won't be anywhere near full strength in this game. Star guard Klay Thompson and forward Draymond Green will both miss this contest, along with backup point guard Gary Payton II. All three of those players play key roles for Golden State, so it will be difficult for the Warriors to recover from their absences. Otto Porter Jr., Chris Chiozza, and Jordan Poole will all be forced into big roles against one of the best teams in the NBA, which isn't typically a recipe for success.

While the Warriors have been a great team against the spread, Chicago has been right there with them. The Bulls are 23-16 ATS, but their numbers get even better when we look at this specific matchup. When they play at home, Chicago has gone an incredible 13-7 against the spread, while also earning an 11-5 record as a home favorite. This looks like the perfect spot to take the Bulls.

Final Warriors-Bulls Prediction & Pick

This is an easy pick. It's surprising that the Bulls aren't favored by more here, as home-court advantage combined with the injuries Golden State is dealing with give Chicago a clear edge.

Final Warriors-Bulls Prediction & Pick: Chicago Bulls: -3.5 (-110)
