The Phoenix Suns travel down to southern California to take on the Los Angeles Clippers in a Game 4 matchup in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. This series has been great so far, as both organizations aim to win their first NBA championship this year. It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Suns-Clippers Game 4 prediction and pick.

The Suns currently hold a 2-1 lead in the series and have a slight edge for now. They did lose Game 3, but they look to bounce back and take a commanding 3-1 lead, increasing their chances of making it to the NBA Finals.

The Clippers have fallen 0-2 just to win the series in each round so far. This team should be feeling confident heading into Game 4, as they've been in this same situation before. Kawhi Leonard is ruled out for Saturday night's game, so the team will have to rely on Paul George once again.

Here's how the sportsbooks have set the Suns-Clippers Game 4 odds.

NBA Playoffs: Suns-Clippers Game 4 odds

Phoenix Suns -1 (-108)

Los Angeles Clippers +1 (-112)

Over 218.5 (-110)

Under 218.5 (-110)

Why the Suns could cover the spread

Phoenix enters this matchup with a fully healthy roster. Chris Paul is back in the lineup, Devin Booker's nose is busted, but he should be in good condition, and Deandre Ayton has been the most consistent player in this series. They'll have to perform at their best though, as the Clippers won't go down without a fight.

Booker has to find a way to become more efficient. Patrick Beverly has bottled him up the last two games, leaving Deandre Ayton by himself. Chris Paul isn't the prolific scorer he used to be, but he can provide leadership and high-end ball movement. To cover the spread, and win the game, the Suns have to find a way to get Booker more open looks.

Why the Clippers could cover the spread

The defense is what has kept this team alive throughout the postseason. The perimeter defense is what has given the Clippers an edge in this matchup, even though they're down 1-2. LA kept the first two games close then won Game 3, which bodes well for their chances on Saturday night.

Look for the Clippers to lean on Paul George throughout the game. They'll need him to play at his best if they hope to tie up the series. Additionally, the perimeter defense must stay consistent, as Devin Booker can get hot at any moment. Ayton has been a problem in the paint though, so finding a way to slow him down a tad wouldn't hurt either.

Final Suns-Clippers Game 4 prediction & pick

We've seen the Clippers in this position before and they've been able to advance in every round. The team performs at their best with their backs against the wall. However, Phoenix is built differently, as they have the star power and the health to put the Clippers to rest in the Western Conference Finals. Even so, Los Angeles is hungry, determined, and motivated to keep their postseason run going. With the game taking place in LA, the Clippers have the homecourt advantage, which could be enough for them to gain the edge in the final minutes.

FINAL PICK: Clippers win 111-110
