Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams is still on the Atlanta Hawks’ radar and talks could potentially pick up steam as the NBA's February 6 trade deadline approaches, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The Hawks have ended trade talks with the Detroit Pistons centered around Andre Drummond. Atlanta is desperately looking to upgrade its center position:

If the Hawks don’t address their center need by the Feb. 6 trade deadline, Drummond is expected to be one of their top targets in free agency, sources said.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams is also on the Hawks’ radar and talks could potentially pick up steam as the deadline looms, sources said.

After trading Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers and Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets, the Thunder are said to be open to moving Adams and the $53,370,787 he’s owed over the next two years.

Adams figures to mesh well with Hawks point guard Trae Young, who is one of the best passers in the NBA. Adams flourished playing with Westbrook, so odds are he would do the same with Young.

In 38 games this season for the Thunder, Adams is averaging 11.8 points and 10.0 rebounds. He's shooting 61.7 percent from the field and 57.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Hawks are 9-32 on the season. They have the worst record in the Eastern Conference and are looking to get as much talent as possible around Young.
