During Thursday's game between the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs, a bat flew into the crowd to everyone's surprise. This called for an opportunity for the Spurs crowd to prove that they're the only ones who's trained to handle such occurrence. All they had to do was chant “Manu Ginobili” for all to hear.

The 4o-year-old guard has been with the Spurs for years, all through their dynasty run. Even though he wasn't necessarily the featured star of the Spurs, he was still so impactful. However, names like Tony Parker and Tim Duncan took the first stage. But Ginobili thrived in his role as the third star.

After trading away Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors, it seems like the team has found a new star in DeMar DeRozan. His partnership with LaMarcus Aldridge is one of the best in the entire league. DeRozan's crafty footwork and Aldridge's ability to hit fadeaways and use post moves with ease are the team's bread and butter.

There have been a lot of talks that this might be Gregg Popovich's last season as the Spurs' head coach. Although nothing has been confirmed, the coach is getting older and he no longer has a talented team like he once did.

It remains to be seen what R.C. Buford does moving forward. They are not a championship contending team and they need more depth and another star on the roster to even have a chance of making it deep into the playoffs.
