Following a dashing 2016-17 campaign, Washington Wizards small forward Otto Porter Jr. could reap the benefits of a very impressive improvement during this offseason.

Porter will be a restricted free agent this summer, but it won't take long for offers to start rolling in for his marksman services.

According to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News, the Georgetown standout could garner offers from the Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic, and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Porter would have gotten “max-contract interest” from the Dallas Mavericks as well, had they not traded for Nerlens Noel at the deadline, as they intend to make him a max offer this summer.

With a spike in the NBA salaries due to the brand new collective bargaining agreement and TV network contracts, Porter could easily receive as much as a four-year, $100 million contract offer sheet from any of these teams, if the interest is as deep enough as their pockets.

“If his situation goes past the first couple of days of free agency,” one general manager told Sporting News, “It will cost them because some of these teams that have space and miss out on the players they have in mind to start with are going to move quickly to the restricted (free agents). And Otto Porter is going to be at the top of that list, even at $100 million.”

The Wizards still have a right to match the offer sheet, but would think twice before doing so after giving $127 million to Bradley Beal last summer and having every intention to sign point man mage John Wall to a long-term extension.

If Washington decides to keep him at all costs, they could offer a five-year deal between the $115-120 million range, which would exceed what any other team could offer him.

Otto Porter saw career-highs across the board this season, averaging 13.4 points on 51.6 percent from the floor, 43.4 percent from deep, 83.2 percent from the stripe, along with 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
