Okafor was traded to the Brooklyn Nets earlier today alongside guard Nik Stauskas and a 2019 second-round pick for spark plug forward Trevor Booker.
The Chicago native had only played two games this season, totaling a mere 25 minutes of playing time through the young season.

Looks like now Okafor, having found a new home and a new opportunity, will have a chance to not only shake hands with one of the best-selling artists of any genre, but also to show him this organization was right taking the gamble to trade for him and bail him out of the jail Philadelphia had become for him over the past two seasons.
