Away players missing free throws so fans can get free Chick-Fil-A? If you want a player doing that so you can get free food, you can count on Brooklyn Nets star, Spencer Dinwiddie.

The Nets defeated the Washington Wizards, 115-104. Dinwiddie gave the the Wizards fans some positive news despite the loss.

What is very cool about all of thisĀ  is 25.08 percent of all the proceeds will go to charity. It is very cool on Dinwiddie's part. He knew the game was in the team's hands and losing two extra points would not hurt.

Unless, if you are gambling on the game and you lost money due to those two miss free throws.

It is also important to note Dinwiddie is in the record books, as stated from the Nets official Twitter account: Dinwiddie is the fourth Nets player in franchise history to have 25 points and eight assists off the bench.

Dinwiddie is averaging 14.9 points, 4.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. He is shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three.

This is all coming off the bench. He has not started once this season for the Nets. Nevertheless, he's now a fan favorite for a few teams after Friday night.
