One prospect who seems to be moving up NFL Draft boards pretty fast is University of Missouri quarterback Drew Lock, and according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Lock is scheduled to meet with the Washington Redskins and New York Giants this week.

Lock is coming off of a senior campaign in which he threw for 3,498 yards, 28 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 62.9 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 147.7.

While the general consensus is that Oklahoma's Kyler Murray will be going to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 1 overall, there is now some debate as to who will be the second signal-caller off the board later this month.

Previously, Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins seemed like the sure-fire bet, as he had a monster 2018 season in which he finished with 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight picks while completing 70 percent of his passes while recording a passer rating of 174.1.

However, now, some feel that Lock may actually end up overtaking Haskins and go before the Buckeyes product.

Both the Redskins and the Giants are in need of a young quarterback moving forward, so the fact that Lock is meeting with both clubs makes plenty of sense.

Washington currently has Case Keenum and Colt McCoy battling for the starting job with Alex Smith almost surely sidelined for all of 2019 while he recovers from a broken leg, and while Eli Manning seems like the definite starter for New York, he is 38 years old, so the Giants will need a successor for the two-time Super Bowl MVP.
