The NFL has pushed the Week 12 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers to Tuesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini.

The move comes in light of additional problems regarding the Ravens and positive COVID-19 tests, including quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Baltimore has struggled to get a grip on the spread all week. The NFL first moved the game—which was initially scheduled for Thursday night—to Sunday afternoon.

Although Steelers players were outraged at the loss of a primetime game, the league suggested the matchup would still be nationally televised despite it coinciding with numerous other kickoffs around the league.

However, the revelation of more positive tests has forced the NFL's hand further. The league appears intent not to cancel or force the Ravens to forfeit. Thus, the two AFC North rivals will throw down on Tuesday.

This second change will have further schedule ramifications. Baltimore was supposed to face the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in Week 13. Had things gone according to plan, both teams would have had a full week of preparation. Of course, that is far from the case now.

It remains to be seen whether the Ravens can get things under control before Tuesday. If not, a forfeiture seems more likely than another rescheduling.

The NFL has been hesitant to stray from its schedule. Not to mention, the Steelers have already had one postponement forced upon them due to the Tennessee Titans' own issues with COVID-19 earlier in the season.

Regardless, it has become very clear the virus is having a tangible impact on the 2020 campaign.
