NFL legend Shannon Sharpe is mad. The three-time Super Bowl Champion is calling out Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for his absence and silence amid the current social justice movement that has swept the entire globe.

In his show “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed” with co-host Skip Bayless, the former NFL tight end singled out Jones for choosing to stay silent and suggested that fans shouldn't be surprised that the executive is taking such a “neutral” stand.

“When the protests originally started (back in 2016), the owners were like ‘I wish our players wouldn't do that but I will respect their right.' That's not what Jerry Jones said. Jerry Jones threatened his players,” Sharpe stated.

The 51-year-old is referring to the statements made by Jones in relation to the kneeling protests started by Colin Kaepernick in 2016. The Cowboys boss said that there will be no room for kneeling and disrespect of the American flag in his squad.

Shannon Sharpe continued to criticize Jones, questioning him why he is not speaking about the issue despite being the most powerful and vocal owner in the league. For what it's worth, other NFL players, executives and coaches have chosen to stand up and speak out against systemic racism and the social injustices that have been happening all over the nation for years now.

He also alluded to Jones' publicized support of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential bid, as well as his 2020 re-election campaign. The NFL icon challenged Jones by saying: “We're asking you, Jerry Jones, for your voice and your support to help black men and women that can't do a damn thing for you. That's what we're asking.”

Sharpe is not the only one taking notice of Jones' unequivocal silence, as San Francisco 49ers star Richard Sherman also voiced his discontent with the owner's stand.
