Trevor Lawrence has yet to play a single minute in the NFL but already, he's become a sought-after name for endorsement deals. According to reports, sporting goods giant Adidas appears to have snagged the consensus first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft with Lawrence expected to sign a big-money deal with the renowned German sportswear brand.

While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, Eben Novy-Williams and Scott Soshnick of Sportico have reported that Lawrence is on the brink of signing on the dotted line. Both Adidas and Trevor Lawrence's camp have declined to comment on their impending partnership, but according to the report, the deal is now all but done. It should only be a matter of time before Adidas announces that Lawrence will join the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers as their latest superstar endorser.

This announcement should come prior to the draft scheduled on April 30, and we could see Lawrence decked in Adidas gear way before he gets his name called during the draft. Nothing has changed at this point, and the former Clemson standout is still expected to go first overall to the Jaguars.

It is worth noting that Lawrence's love affair with Adidas goes way back. In 2016, he came out with this tweet heaping praise on the brand and their high-quality cleats:

Trevor Lawrence clearly has a personal bias towards Adidas and this likely factored in on his decision to put pen to paper with them as opposed to any other brand out there. Sorry, Nike.
