Niners superstar George Kittle just got a little richer. Well, at least reportedly so. According to multiple reports, the San Francisco 49ers tight end has reached a five-year, $75 million extension with the franchise. For those unaware, that's a lot of money.

While the news was broken by a few outlets, ESPN was the most reputable outlet to come up with Niners information first. It's worth noting, however, even the worldwide leader in sports credited Barstool Sports for being the legit first on the scene.

Nonetheless, this is a good and interesting deal involving George Kittle, who is arguably the best tight end in all of the National Football League.

According to ESPN, the specific details of the deal are as follows:

The Niners and Kittle agreed to a five-year, $75 million deal on Thursday, league sources confirmed to ESPN. It includes an $18 million signing bonus, $30 million guaranteed at signing and $40 million guaranteed for injury, a source told ESPN.

The guaranteed money is the only part that matters; tho the $40 million promised if injured is a big deal for the talented pass catching/run blocking tight end.

Only time will tell how this deal works out for both the Niners and George Kittle. Nevertheless, he's secured the bag for the day. Good for him.
