Prior to Game 4, the Denver Nuggets have failed to come in the AT&T Center and defeat the San Antonio Spurs on the road this season. In fact, they haven't defeat the Spurs on their home floor for the past seven seasons, until last night.

Despite this, the Nuggets have shown that they love making it rain from deep in San Antonio, particularly this 2018-19 season. Per Clutchpoints' research, Denver entered Saturday night shooting 50-of-109 on made threes in the three games it had played in San Antonio this season.

And things stayed that way in Game 4, where they shot a scintillating 15-of-31 from downtown, good for 49 percent. Per Chris Dempsey of Nuggets.com, Denver has now made 46 percent of their threes from beyond the arc through their four meetings in San Antonio this season, including the regular season.

Despite a deflating loss in Game 3, their three-point shooting was one of their few positives – they shot 15-of-29 (51.7 percent) that night.

The Nuggets definitely needed their most dangerous weapon to continue dropping in San Antonio, especially in last night's must-win Game 4. And drop they did, as Denver capitalize on their open looks from downtown.

Five of their 15 triples in Game 4 came from their unsung hero Torrey Craig, who started in place of struggling swingman Will Barton.

Ironically, Denver seems to enjoy shooting in San Antonio more than at home. The Nuggets are now shooting at a blistering 50 percent clip from deep through their two road games in San Antonio in this series, whereas they connected on just 30.7 percent of their threes combined in Games 1 and 2.
